Episode 21: Twitter Outages May Cause Social Network to Go Dark

Erin Kotecki Vest a.k.a. Queen of Spain joined us for a twitterific rant. Most recently she had a stunning interview with presidential hopeful Barack Obama. She discussed Barack before we dove too far into Twitter.

Our conversation was sparked by TechCrunch’s recent coverage of Twitter and its consistent service problems.

Then it began.  We debated back and forth whether or not Twitter was dead, and then the merits of FriendFeed, which seems to be a Scoble driven vehicle.  

 

Finally Erin slammed home we keep coming back, no matter what.  Twitter won’t die.

Geoff says it will be like paging, a big social network will add the function then the phenomena known as Twitter will die.  Conversation ends there.
Then mindless babble about who is the real Britney in social media. Candidates included Peter Cashmore, Arrington and others.
