Episode seven began with an examination of an over abundance of social media events and conferences. In particular, we discussed the rise of the social media junket, the “Aloha Social Media Summit.”
Ann Bernard and Keith Casey from WhyGoSolo gave us an update. They were featured today on ReadWriteWeb.
Aaron and Geoff talked about their events they are going to. Look for Aaron at Thursday’s Social Media Club event. Aaron will do a District of Corruption from SXSW! And BlogPotomac is coming, too.
We discussed the demise of AOL’s HQ in the greater Washington area… As well as Sprint’s move to Kansas City!
Silly Valley: We improvised due to poor prep, and featured low hanging fruit: Michael Arrington and TechCrunch.
