Episode #4: The Rise of Feffer

January 29, 2008 · Print This Article

Episode four began well enough with a discussion of local 2.0 blog news start-up The Social Times. Aaron and Geoff lauded the effort, and offered some pointers.

Then the show had an interesting surprise.  Nationally syndicated astrologer and Geoff’s maternal unit Jacqueline Bigar called and revealed his baby name: Feffer.  Chat and twitter hazing ensued.

Meanwhile the two hosts discussed federal social media, in particular, Robert Carey, CIO of the Navy’s intent to start a blogPresto Vivace’s Alice Marshall and Communicators Anon Lauren Vargas joined the chat.

Finally, the two had their usual Silly Valley rant.  This time the focus of angst was DEMO, the launching pad of 2.0 start-ups. But first Geoff shameless pimped his client StackSafe, who is appearing at DEMO.  Aaron dubbed DEMO a circle jerk.

Listen in for more, and be sure to join the District of Corruption next week!

Update: Robert Scoble will not be on the show next week due to travel conflicts. We will let you know when we reschedule him.
